On the base of obligation arising from the low on Local-self government and Statute of City of Nis, in the hall of Nis` Cultural Centre of City Municipality of Palilula, it was held talk about Work version of Development Program of City of Nis for 2011 that is made in Administration of Economy, Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection – Department for Sustainable Development. To this meeting, except representatives of departmental administration and members of the Council and Assembly of City Municipality of Palilula, attended and interested citizens of Palilula, which are in discussion and concrete proposals gave contribute of making of an objective analysis of achieved level of development and defining of priorities in development of Municipality.

GREAT INTEREST OF WOMEN

In the Infirmary of local office “Milka Protic” of Palilula Municipality, was held eighth promotion of campaign “With knowledge to the health” which Preventive Center of Health Center in Nis, once in the week organizing in cooperation with City Municipality of Palilula. This educational program called “Education of women about breast self-examination”, in the local office “Milka Protic” was a very visited. About forty women from this settlement of Palilula municipality responded to the invitation and attended to lecture of doctor Svetlana Kostic from Preventive Center of Health Center in Nis and then and to the projection of film. It was demonstrated and exercise on medical model and distributed educational material.

GLADE OF HOUSES AND EMPTY PROMISES

NIS - For years in the city on Nisava circulating bitter but true jokes, that in suburb Mramor, on homonymous hill near Nis, right across Morava, you can never apply the exact place of residence. Because, you fall a sleep on one, and in the morning you wake up on other parcel, because of landslides that is on this field is known seventy years. But, by decades, especially Serbs who moved from Kosovo, on Mramor`s hill build houses without permit, even knowing that they risk because of landslides, because since then it was easy visible. It is real luck that in those ruined houses, between which is very often intertwined broken water and sewer pipes, electrical and PTT cables, and in which still lives some families, no one was hurt.

FRENCH SAGEM INVESTS IN THE ZONE DONJE MEDJUROVO TOO

French company Sagem decided that builds factories  in Serbia in work zone Donje Medjurovo, on the territory of City Municipality of Palilula in Nis, and its should to employ in first phase of work about 200 workers. It will be third big investment, after Jura and Ditex, on this area of Palilula. During conversation of representatives of Sagem and City of Nis, it is confirmed that will investment of French producer of electrical and communicative equipment of high technology be realized during the year 2011. Representatives of Sagem it says in announcement of informative service of mayor of Nis, will until the end of this year decide will planed business activities be realized as Greenfield investment, and construction of new plant or “brownfield” or buying and adaptation of existing hall.

In the local office “Djuka Dinic” was held seventh promotion of campaign “With knowledge to the health” that is organizing Preventive Center of Health Center in Nis every Wednesday at 11am in cooperation with City Municipality of Palilula. Educational program “Education of women for breast self-examination” by tradition, is interesting to women, mostly middle and older population – says Slavoljub Savic, head of Municipal administration associate of Palilula Municipality. Attendance is uneven, because there is no developed Health Education or our citizens are to busy.

REMOVAL OF THE LANDFILL PERIMETER IN PARK “BUBANJ”

The project “Landscaping in the city and in the village” realizing by Volunteer Center in Nis, in partnership with informal group Cobra in Donja Trnava, this weekend it was held action of cleaning of wild dumps in perimeter in park “Bubanj”. This activity is successfully realized  with cooperation of City Municipality of Palilula and with support of media house “EKOpolis network”, who is the promoter of planetary ecological campaign “Clean up the world CUW 2010”.City Municipality of Palilula strategically is interested for environmental protection as and for removing of consequences of neglect of people – says Boban Mikic, member of the Palilula Council.
